Traffic Impact Report for April 21 through April 25 shows areas where motorists can expect delays.  The northbound ramps of I-65 at exit 58 (Horse Cave) will have shoulder closures that reduce the lane width down to 12 feet as crews construct the widening in these areas.

KY 70/KY 90 in Barrren County- Trucks will be entering and exiting the roadway in Cave City between the CSX bridge and I-65.

Outer Loop- Lane restrictions in east bound direction of the Louie B. Nunn Parkway.  Lane restrictions in the west bound direction have been lifted, but the left lane remains closed.  Contractors will still have construction traffic entering and leaving the parkway and KY 1297 throughout the week.

In Butler County US 231, On Monday, the contractor will continue laying culvert pipe and placing embankment.  There will be 1 lane closure with flaggers in place from 8:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. .

In Metcalfe County U.S. 68/ Louie B Nunn Parkway- Grade work and bridge construction has begun.  Trucks and equipment will be entering and exiting the road in this area. The northern section of Harvey Hurt Rd. (across from Industrial Dr.) will be closed to through traffic.  Local traffic will need to use the southern approach from US 68 to access Harvey Hurt Rd. Louie B. Nunn Parkway- There will be lane closures in both directions on the Louie B. Nunn Parkway at mile marker 29 through mile marker 31.

 

In Simpson County US 31W­-Walmart/Lowes to KY 1008- Flag persons will be on site to control traffic to allow construction vehicles to enter and exit the project work areas.
