Margie Ann Dice, age 70, of Horse Cave, KY, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2014, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. She was a homemaker and a member of Allen Seminary Baptist Church. The Hart County native is the daughter of the late Willie Otis Esters and the late Deruchia Butts Esters.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Rev. William Leroy Dice; one daughter, Ramona Staten and husband Ervin, Bowling Green, KY; three sons, retired SFC Joe W. Dice and wife Veronica, Radcliff, KY, retired SFC William K. Dice and wife Michelle, Bowling Green, KY, SGM Jeffery Dice and wife Tiffany, Fort Irvin, CA; one son-in-law, Patrick Fax, Fort Benning, GA; one sister, Janice Smith and fiance Charles Howard, Glasgow, KY; two brothers, Elroy Esters and wife Mildred, Horse Cave, KY, Jackie Esters, Offenbach, Germany; one brother-in-law, Bobby Ray Thornton, Louisville, KY; one sister-in-law, Rose Esters, Indianapolis, IN; thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two children, Shawanna Fax and Timothy Dice; four sisters, Mary Ola Dice, Betty Jean Wood, Doretha Mundy, Mammie Bell Thornton; three brothers, O. C. Esters, Teddy Esters, Bobby Joe Esters.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, April 23, 2014 and from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Allen Seminary Baptist Church, 100 Knob Church Road, Hardyville, KY 42746. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Allen Seminary Baptist Church with Rev. Stanford Dixon and Bishop Allen Dice officiating. Interment will be at Allen Seminary Cemetery, Hardyville, KY. Funeral arrangements are by Brooks Funeral Home.
