On Wednesday June 11, the Bowling Green Police were called to Hampton Drive for a report of an attempted kidnapping.  Police were told by the 17 year old female victim, she was running on Hampton Drive when a man driving by stopped and asked her if she wanted a ride due to the rain.  The female declined and stated the man drove away.  The female stated the man then approached her on foot and told her she was coming with him.  The female ran to a friend's house nearby and called police.

Police are looking for a 5'10" dark-complexioned male with dark spiked hair.  The van he was driving was a full sized white van with no windows on the side.
