Oscarine Craddock, 96 of Louisville, formerly of Cub Run, passed away Friday, August 1 at the New Horizons Medical Center in Owenton.  She was a daughter of the late John Lewis and Estella Appleby Lewis and the wife of the late Marshall Craddock.

Ms. Craddock was a retired teacher with the Jefferson County School System.  Her teaching career started in a one room school at Cane Run in Hart County.

She was a member of the Cub Run Methodist Church and the Munfordville Order of Eastern Star.

She is survived by two daughters, Marcia Kay Gamble & husband George of Bardstown and Karen Craddock; five grandchildren, Dean Gamble, Lori Rogers & husband Beau, Sara Engrem & husband Greg, Amanda and Kaylea Allen; five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Thelma & Royce Lewis and three sisters, Dulace Lewis, Leona Clemons & Genevieve Taylor.

Funeral services for Oscarine Craddock will be 1pm CST Tuesday, August 5 in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with burial in the Cub Run Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 9am until time for services at the Sego Funeral Home.
