GLASGOW FIRE DEPARTMENT EARNS ISO CLASS 2 RATING PDF Print

On Friday the Glasgow Fire Department, along with the City of Glasgow, the 911 Dispatch Center and the Glasgow Water Company to announce the results of the recent Insurance Services Organization (ISO) survey.

 

The Glasgow Fire Department has been awarded an ISO rating 2 which is a step up from the previous Class 3 rating.  Chief Tony Atwood says this is history making for the City of Glasgow:

Assistant Chief Brian Marr is the one in charge of keeping track of all Firefighter training hours, which is a key part of an ISO rating:

Michael Hale, who retired as Assistant Chief for the Glasgow Fire Department worked on ISO certification before his retirement.  Hale noted the importance of the County Volunteer Departments in this new rating:

Glasgow Mayor Rhonda Trautman noted that this “adds to the quality of life in Glasgow”..
