Cave City Police make two arrests:

Cave City Police Officer Terrill Riley arrested 27 year old Michael Fox of Cave City on Sunday Morning. Riley received a call to observe for Fox coming into town, he was wanted by Barren County Sheriffs Office for a violation of a Domestic Violence Order. Officer Danny Coomer observed Fox on North 10th Street and made a traffic stop on the vehicle. Upon Officer Riley arriving at the scene Fox was arrested and charged with OPERATING A MOTOR VEHICLE ON A SUSPENDED OPERATORS LICENSE, POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA and DISORDERLY CONDUCT 2ND DEGREE. More charges are pending from the Barren County Sheriffs Office.

Also over the weekend Officer Jason Morgan responded to wreck without injury on 31-W North in the limits of Cave City. 38 year old Joseph Absher of Cave City had ran through a fence on 31-W. The owner of the property followed Absher into Cave City and was on the phone with 911 who directed Officer Morgan to the area of Absher. Officer Morgan Arrested Absher for DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE 1ST DEGREE (AGGRAVATING CIRCUMSTANCES) and LEAVING THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT.

Both individuals were taken and lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
