The Barren County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a scam and wants to warn all citizens of the activity. It has been reported that someone, identifying themselves as being with Federal Express is requesting money to be sent to them for purchases that they have previously made. They are advising the person to send them money, in excess of $100, through Western Union. They have already obtained some personal information on who they are calling. If you should receive this call do not give any personal information out to anyone over the phone.
