Mary Lou McShane 82 of Glasgow died Sunday, January 23, 2011 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green, KY.  Mrs. McShane was born in Beckley, West Virginia the daughter of the late Roy and Sada Smith Keyser.
 
She met her husband, William F. McShane while attending the University of Kentucky and they married in 1949 before moving to Glasgow.  On January 29th, they would have been married 63 years.  Mary Lou was a homemaker and a former Glasgow Garden Club member and enjoyed her bridge club.  She was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church, a member of the church choir and the Eva Dean Kemp Circle.
 
Survivors include her husband William F. “Mickey” McShane; 2 sons William Thomas McShane and wife Yvonne of Marshfield, WI and Michael Kennedy McShane and wife Naoko of Norfolk, VA; 1 daughter Melanie McShane Carson of Glasgow; 5 grandchildren, Mark Harrer, Natalie Carson, Maggie and Annie McShane and Seiji McShane.  She is also survived by her sister-in-law Pamela Keyser of Beckley, W. VA, a niece Sandy Carson and a nephew John Keyser.  A brother, Tom Keyser preceded her in death.
 
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.  Visitation will be for one hour at the church on Tuesday from 10:00AM until service time.  A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
