Nelda Hollinsworth Yokley age 88 of Tompkinsville died Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. Nelda had been a funeral director for nearly 60 years and a member of the Bethlehem Eastern Star for 50 years; was a charter member of the Golden Girls Bridge Club and a member of the Berea Chapel Methodist Church. 

She is survived by two daughers Jane Trible and husband Greg and Jean Blazier and husband W. D. all of Tompkinsville; one sister Alma Williams of Tompkinsville; five grandchildren Emily Benson, Rachel Yokley, Ben Blazier, Mary Ellen Howard and Sara Lain Trible and three great-grandchildren John Mark Benson, Iva Kate Blazier and Leah Lain Howard. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Mary Ann Smith and Gid Hollinsworth; her husband John Edd Yokley; two sons Mark and John Michael Yokley; two brothers Truman and John Black Hollinsworth and two sisters Pearl Proffitt and Virginia Dale.

Funeral services for Nelda Hollinsworth Yokley will be held at 11am Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at the Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with interment in the Oak Hill Cemetery.  Visitation on Tuesday from 2 to 9pm and Wednesday from 6am to 11am.

Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Berea Chapel United Methodist Church or the Oak Hill Cemetery.
