Hazel D. Carroll Kingsbury, 90, formerly of Riverview, died Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Edmonson Health and Rehab Center. The Edmonson County native was a retired business owner, a former K Mart Employee, a former employee of  I & W Amusement in Louisville and was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She attended Vincent Church and Mt. Pisgah Church. She was a daughter of the late Floy Marcus Denham and Lula Belle Wilson Denham and the wife of the late McEllan Carroll, the late Elmo Kingsbury and the late Ellis Wilson.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny Denham and Wardlow Denham; and five sisters, Nello Mae Denham, Helen Lewis, Irene Carr, Thelma Denham and Ava Delsia Denham.

Survivors include a daughter, Kaye Miller of Anna; a son, Don Carroll and his wife Marcy of Louisville; four grandchildren, Karrita Pippin and her husband Craig, Donnie Carroll and his wife Elizabeth, Eric Carroll and his wife Sarah and Melinda Miller and her fiancé Matt; fourteen great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren, a niece and 2 nephews also survive.

Funeral Services for Hazel D. Carroll Kingsbury will be  held Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 2:30 pm at Gravil Funeral Home with burial in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin Thursday at 10 am at the funeral home.
