Leslie Richard Dicken, 66, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Tuesday, June 23rd, due to an automobile accident.
Richard was born in Indianapolis, IN, on June 24, 1953, a son of the late Coleen (Gill) and Leslie Ephraim “L.E.” Dicken.
Richard was the owner and operator of Southern Kentucky Hardwood Flooring in Gamaliel, KY. He was a graduate from Tompkinsville High School Class of 1971.
On June 8, 2014, he married Stephanie Miller in Bowling Green, KY.
Richard is survived by his wife, Stephanie Dicken, of Tompkinsville, KY; two step daughters, Tara Thomas, of New Jersey; Ashley Smith, of Tompkinsville, KY; two step sons Josh Gentry, of Cookeville, TN ; and Jordan Gentry, of Glasgow, KY; 10 step grandchildren also survive.
Also surviving are two sisters; Diane Hume, and husband, Jerry; and Donna Dicken, both of Tompkinsville, KY; sister-in-law, Kathy Dicken, of Bowling Green, KY; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, David Dicken, and brother-in-law, Donald Davis.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 27th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Kendall officiating. Private burial will be held at Monroe County Memorial Lawn.
Visitation is Saturday morning after 9:00 A.M. until service time at 11:00 A.M at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
