Christopher A. Roby Sr., 64, of Mammoth Cave passed away July 17, 2020 at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green.
The Jefferson County native was an auto mechanic who loved God and restoring old cars and was a member of The Lighthouse. He was a son of the late Albert Lee Roby and Ella Newton Roby. He was preceded in death by a step son, Shelby Whitworth; four brothers, BoBo Robey, Jodie Robey, June Bug Robey and Roger Roby; and three sisters, Barbaara Nalley, Dot Henon and Mildred Ray.
Visitation will be 11 AM-2 PM Tuesday at The Lighthouse. Funeral services are private. Burial will take place in The Lighthouse Cemetery. Gravil Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Surviving are his wife, Brittany Lindsey Roby; a daughter, Shannon Mercer (Darrell) of Louisville; three sons, Chris Roby Jr. (Stephanie) of Louisville, Kenny Roby (Becky) of Radcliff and Patrick Roby of Brownsville; four step daughters, Pamela Ambers, Diana Atkinson, Jackie Whitworth and Lisa Whitworth; one step son, Brian Whitworth; two brothers, Mike Roby and Pat Robey; three sisters, Margaret Lynn Robey, Cindy Jones and Lois Ann McQuire; 12 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and his dogs, Abby and Chewy.
