Billie Jean Padgett, age 89, went to heaven on July 24, 2020. She had been at NHC Nursing Home in Glasgow, Kentucky for some eighteen months. Before moving to NHC, she enjoyed many years living with her only son, Pastor Mike Padgett and his wife Rosana. Billie was a faithful member of the church her son pastors, Glasgow Bible Church. Before coming to Glasgow, she was a faithful member of Beacon Baptist Church in Nashville, Tennessee.
Billie Padgett was born May 14, 1931 in Nashville, Tennessee. She is survived by her younger brother Edward Coley; her son, Mike Padgett and wife Rosana; her four grandchildren, Miki and his wife Tina, Dan and his wife Amy, Jessica Dame and her husband Heath, and Joel. She had seven great-grandchildren, Joe, Lily, Audriel, Davis, Malachi, Judah and Tres.
Funeral service will be 6:00pm, Thursday, July 30, 2020 at the Glasgow Bible Church, 1514 N. Race Street, Glasgow, KY. Visitation will be from 4:00pm until 8:00pm with fellowship after the service at the church. Visitation on Friday, July 31, 2020 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Spring Hill Funeral Home (5110 Gallatin Pike S, Nashville, TN) with service to follow at 1:00pm at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Forrest Lawn Cemetery (1150 South Dickerson Rd, Goodlettsville, TN).
