Creed Burba, 89 of Sonora passed away Wednesday morning at his home. He was born in Edmonson County to the late Paul & Mirverva Meredith Burba. Creed was a lifelong farmer.
He was preceded in death by his wife Alvinia, two brothers Rosevelt & Clarence Burba and three sisters Millie Meredith, Lissie Meredith & Alta Jaggers.
He is survived by:

Sheila & husband John Lee Frye of Bonnieville

Donna & husband Roger Puckett of Munfordville
Three brothers Alva Burba of Bonnieville
James Burba of Priceville
Tommy Burba of Sonora
Three sisters-Ollie Mabe of Bonnieville
Lena Mae Butler of Munfordville
Myrtle Gaddie of Florida
Nine grandchildren, one step-grandchild, nine great-grandchildren & two great-great grandchildren
Funeral services for Creed Burba will be 11am Friday, July 31 in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with burial in the Union Light Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 12-8pm and after 8am Friday at the Sego Funeral Home. Due to the Covid mandates our food and dining area remains closed at this time.
