James Larry Keown, 79, of Brownsville passed away July 29, 2020 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
The Edmonson County native was a maintenance supervisor and foreman retired from SKF. He was a son of the late James Shirley Keown and Corene Elizabeth Howard Keown and the husband of the late Julia Annette Brooks Keown. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Sherman Keown and Freddie Keown; and a sister, Sharon Cole.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Gravil Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Surviving are his wife, Judy Lee Hartman Keown; three sons, Steven Larry Watkins (Glenda) of Louisville, Larry Wayne Keown (Debbie) of Bowling Green and Kevin Keown or Glasgow; two daughters, Kim Taylor of Bowling Green and Cristi York (Kevin) of Brownsville; two step sons, Eddie Atkins (Tammy) of Chalybeate, and Lloyd Hartman II (Leslie) of Hendersonville, TN; three step daughters, Darlene Cline of Bowling Green, Jennifer Word (Tim) of Daphne, AL and Katherin Hughes (D.J.) of Hendersonville; a brother, Jerry Keown (Cherman) of Cedar Springs; a sister, Darlene Rose (Ricky) of Alvaton; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
