Ira Louis Meredith, age 88 of Bee Springs died Friday in Bee Spring. He was born in Edmonson County on September 23rd 1931 to the late Johnny A and Alice Meredith. He was married to Wanda Mae Alvey Meredith, who preceded him in death. He was a self employed sawmill operator, farmer and a member of Jock United Baptist Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Teresa Brooks of Bee Spring and Kathy Decker of Anneta; sixteen grandchildren, thirty two great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Ira Louis Meredith will be held at 2PM tomorrow in the Jock United Baptist Church with burial in the Jock Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 8PM today and after 10AM tomorrow until time for services at the church. Patton Funeral Home, Brownsville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
