Carrol Spears, 74, of Moss, TN, passed away Tuesday, August 18th, at Greenwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bowling Green, KY.
Carrol was born in Monroe County, KY on March 27, 1946, a son of the late Robbie Pearl (Dodson) and Dewell Spears.
Carrol is survived by a daughter, Kelly Lasley, and husband, Everick, of Bowling Green, KY; two sons Shawn Spears and Donivan Spears, both of Fountain Run, KY; four grandchildren, Morgan Spears, of Indianapolis, IN, Hanna Spears, DeVanee Lasley and Amaya Lasley, all of Bowling Green, KY; the mother of his children, Patty Cornwell, of Fountain Run, KY.
Carrol is also survived by two sisters, Jessie Hays, of Indianapolis, IN and Wanda Cain, of Tompkinsville, KY; four brothers, Sidney Spears, Audie Spears, and James Spears, all of Tompkinsville, KY and Royce Spears of Indianapolis, IN.
Other than his parents he is preceded in death by a special friend, Ann Smith, and two brothers, Mitchell and Clyde Spears.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 21st at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY.
Visitation is Friday morning after 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
Burial is in Monroe County Memorial Lawn.
