Billy Martin, 58, of Scottsville, KY passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at his residence. The Scottsville, KY native was a son of the late William Garnett Martin and Joyce Irene Bridgeman Martin, who survives, and husband of the late Paula Renae Payne.
He is survived by 2 sons: Trucker Payne and Storm Martin, both of Scottsville, KY;
4 daughters: Angela Wallace and Cora Payne, both of Scottsville, KY; Amanda Bartolon and husband, Juan, Carthage, TN and Brandy Martin and wife, Judy, Owensboro, KY;
His mother: Irene Martin, Scottsville, KY;
4 brothers: Roger Martin and wife, Lisa, and Randy Martin and Tracy Whitney, all of Scottsville, KY; Jeff Martin and wife, Penny, Franklin, KY;
4 sisters: Edna Brown, Vonda Stinson and husband, Chip, and Diane Witcher, all of Scottsville, KY; Charlotte Shields, Franklin, KY;
9 grandchildren: Andrea Lynn, James Lynn, Austin Smith, Iesha Smith, Angel Payne, Tyriek Payne, Serenity Meredith, Jimi Tamayo and Alaina Payne;
1 great granddaughter: Aubreyana LeShea Payne.
He was preceded in death by a son: Walker Martin and a brother: Ricky Martin.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. David Kinslow officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 7:00 a.m. Saturday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home. According to the Kentucky Funeral Directors Association, social distancing and face masks are requested, and there is no PUBLIC lounge available. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
