Dorothy Jean Coffey, age 84 of Cave City, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2020 at N.H.C. Health Care in Glasgow. She was a native of Barren County and was of the Baptist faith. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Terrell “Bill” Coffey; her parents, Oliver Miles and Mary Childress Miles; three sisters, Ruth Miles McClure, Opal Miles Dennis and Naomie Miles Kramer; three brothers, Raymond Miles, Owen Miles and Reno Miles.
She is survived by her two sons, Roger Coffey ( Mary Ann Bond) of Centreville, VA, and Ronnie Coffey (Debbie) of Cave City; four grandchildren, Allison Coffey, Amanda Coffey, Wendy Underwood and Monica Morgan; five great-grandchildren, Mason Underwood, Chloe Underwood, Tatum Underwood, Waylon Underwood and Heaven Morgan; one sister, Lucile Miles Davis; one brother, Jerry Miles; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home, simulcast live on Winn Funeral Homes’ Face Book page, and burial will follow in Cosby Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at Winn Funeral Home and again on Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of services.
