Margie Allyne Sturgeon age 83 of Munfordville passed away Thursday night at the Medical Center at Caverna.
She was born in Bonnieville to the late Eddie and Emma Bryant Hornback. Margie was a member of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Edgar, one brother Nick Hornback and by two sisters Louise Staggs & Virginia Embery.
She is survived by one son-Allen Sturgeon of Horse Cave
Three daughters-Jennifer Freeman & husband John of Munfordville
Terri Robinson & husband Michael of Lawrenceburg
Kelly Sturgeon of Oakland
Three grandchildren-Tyler, Todd & Jacob Sturgeon
Funeral services for Margie Allyne Sturgeon will be 2pm Sunday, August 30 in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with Bro. Shane Embery & Bro. Cody Bumpus officiating. Burial will be in the Munfordville Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 2-8pm and after 9am Sunday at the Sego Funeral Home.
The family request that memorial contributions may take the form of Gideon Bibles.
