Lattie Ferrell Gardner, 76, of Scottsville, KY passed away Friday, August 28, 2020, at the Cal Turner Rehab and Specialty Care Center in Scottsville, KY. He was born July 18, 1944, in Allen County, KY to the late Lowell and Lola Dodson Gardner. He married Wanda Hurt Gardner who precedes him in death on August 17, 1962. He retired from
Federal Mogul where he worked for many years as a manager. He was of Baptist faith and attended East Willow Church of God.
He is survived by one son, Kris Gardner of Greenville, SC; One daughter, Tina Atwood and husband Terry of Scottsville, KY; Special friend and care giver, Judy Mayhew of Scottsville, KY; Four grandchildren: Madison Gardner, Joseph, Jonathon, and Joshua Atwood; Three great-grandchildren: Raeleigh, Arthur, and John Atwood; One nephew, Wesley Gardner and wife Tania; Cousins: Pat Turner and Sandra Meador also survive.
In addition to his wife and parents he is preceded in death by one brother Larry Joe Gardner and sister in-law Peggy Gardner.
Funeral service will be held Monday, August 31, 2020, at 11:00 AM at the Harwood & Strode Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Crescent Hill Cemetery in Scottsville, KY. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 30, 2020 from 4:00-8:00 PM and Monday, August 31, 2020 after 9:00 AM until time of the funeral service at Harwood & Strode Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the charity of choice.
