Betty “Sue” Doyle

Betty “Sue” Doyle, 76, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Community Care of Rutherford County.  She was a daughter of the late Carl Clayborn Shelton and Mary Magdalene Frazier Shelton.  She was a member of Park City Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband: Marvin Doyle, Sr.; one son: Lewis Doyle and his wife Roxanne; one granddaughter: Trena Fleming and her husband Andrew; two great-grandsons: Nate and Jayk Fleming; one brother: Wayne Shelton and his wife Semra; four sisters: Ruth Pace and her husband Randal, Joyce Madison and her husband Edward, Judy Catt and her husband Terry and Jo Carol Stephens and her husband Teddy; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one brother: Ray Dean Shelton.

Funeral will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, September, 2, 2020 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.

 

In keeping with the Governor’s recommendations for safety during funeral and memorial services, the number of attendees in the funeral home at any given time will be limited; no food permitted in the lounge; social distancing will be necessary; and face coverings are required.
