GLASGOW, Ky – The Glasgow School Board met for six minutes on Tuesday evening to approve more agenda items on the construction of the new South Green Elementary School.
BG-1 was updated to correct the construction manager fee. The charges that were discussed from a previous meeting turned out to be incorrect. The fee was corrected, approved, and put toward the cost of the construction project.
BG-2 is intended to find the most energy-efficient exterior walls, roofing, flooring, etc. in the design of the new South Green Elementary School building. This item was also unanimously approved.
BG-3 was a statement of probable cost of the entire construction project for the new elementary school. The overall cost could not be determined due to the continuous fluctuation of the current market.
