Joseph Donivan Spears, 54, of Fountain Run, KY, passed away Tuesday, August
31st at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY. Donivan was born
on August 17, 1967 in Allen County, KY, a son of Patty (Jordan) Cornwell
and the late Carrol Spears.
Donivan was a self-employed roofer for many years.
Donivan is survived by his mother, Patty Cornwell, of Fountain Run, KY; a
daughter, Morgan Spears, of Indianapolis, IN; sister, Kelly Lasley, and
husband, Everick of Bowling Green, KY; and a brother, Shawn D. Spears of
Fountain Run, KY; and three special nieces, DeVanee, Amaya, and Hannah.
Funeral services will be held at Fountain Run Funeral Home on Saturday,
September 4, 2021 at 1:00 PM, with burial to follow at Fountain Run
Cemetery.
Visitation is Friday, 4-8 PM, and Saturday, after 8 AM until service time
at 1:00 PM at Fountain Run Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Donivan’s memory may be made to the
American Diabetes Association.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fountain Run Funeral Home.
