Mary Ruth Peden

Mary Ruth Peden, 77, of Glasgow, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2022, at her residence. She was born in Greensburg, KY on September 3, 1944, to the late Frank Gibson and Myrtle Estes Vilbert. Mrs. Peden had worked at Mallory Capacitor for over 30 years until its closing, and then went on to work as a nursing assistant at Barren County Nursing and Rehab Facility in Glasgow. She loved all her family and lived for and loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, she was a member of the Bethesda Church of God and will be sorely missed by all that knew her.

 Survivor include her husband, Terry Dee Peden of Glasgow; sons, Rodney Froedge (Charlene), and John David Froedge (James); step daughter, Terri Lynn Gibbons (David); step sons, Kenny Garrett, and Kris Peden (Thurma); grandchildren, Emily Greer, Lisa Coffelt (James), Kevin Froedge (Ashley), Jonathan Froedge, Tristen Felty (Steph), Matthew Froedge (Autumn), Cheyenne Copass (Justin), Cody Wheeler, Kyle Gordon, and Trae Gordon; great grandchildren, Taygan, Ren, Zade, Reign, Nova, Kayden, Kensleigh, Carleigh, Tucker, and Mitchell; sisters, Rosie Matney, Bonnie Edwards, and Brenda White; several nieces and nephews also survive.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Danny Froedge; two stepdaughters, Kimberly Jane Peden and Kenna Dee Peden; stepson, Kevin Dale Peden; brother, Joseph Gibson; sister, Charlene Fletcher.

 Funeral service will be 1:00pm Thursday January 6th at the Bethesda Church of God in Glasgow. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2:00pm until 8:00pm at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, and on Thursday from 11:00am until time for the service at the Bethesda Church of God. Burial will be in the Big Meadow Cemetery following the service. A.F.
