Bobby R. Conatser, 55, of Glasgow, pleaded guilty last month to second degree manslaughter in the death of Kevin M. Miller, 40, of Scottsville. Miller was killed after Conatser shot him in the back once following an altercation July 2018.

GLASGOW — A Barren County man who pleaded guilty to second degree manslaughter last month is set to be sentenced Tuesday in Barren Circuit Court.
Bobby R. Conatser, 55, accepted a plea agreement in December rather than facing a murder trial. Conatser shot an unarmed man in the back in July 2018.
Kevin M. Miller, 40, of Scottsville, was killed near Conatser’s home along Lick Branch Road after a confrontation.
Second degree manslaughter is a Class C felony in Kentucky. It carries the potential for five to 10 years in prison.
Judge John T. Alexander will preside. The sentencing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
