Melissa Fay Collins of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Marvin Green and Myrtle Barnes Alexander, was born on November 24, 1967 in Louisville, Kentucky and departed this life on Friday, September 2, 2022 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital. She was 54 years, nine months, and nine days of age.
Survivors include four daughters: Stiphena Collins, Crystal Clark both of Alabama, April Clark of Glasgow, and Samantha Collins of Indiana; a son: Steven Collins, Jr. of Alabama; a son-in-law: Steve Graham of Kentucky; nine grandchildren; two brothers: Purnell Green, Sr. of Bowling Green and Marvin Green of Edmonton; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Cremation was chosen. No formal services or visitation at this time. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
