Edward Louis Jewell, 79, of Cave City, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at his residence. He was born September 6, 1943 in Wilmington, Illinois to the late Floyd Jackson Jewell and Tilda Pauline Jewell. Edward was a proud Cave City Volunteer Firefighter and of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Jewell; two sons, Allen Wayne Jewell and Joseph Jewell; ten grandchildren, including one special grandchild, Heather Jaggers; six great grandchildren, Ethan, Sara, Gracie, Kada, Jaylin, Salesia; two stepsons, Ronnie Finn, Jr. and David Finn; one step grandchild, Zachary Finn; and one brother, William “Boots” Jewell.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Janice Cross; one brother, Raymond Jewell; and two sisters, Gladys Young and Joyce Owens.
A graveside service for Mr. Jewell will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 2nd at Cosby Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until time for the service at the cemetery. A. F.
