Wayne Parker

Wayne Parker, 79, of Adolphus, KY passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at the Medical Center at Scottsville.  The Lafayette, TN native was a retired electrician, former Allen County Deputy Sheriff and Constable for 20 years, former employee of Davis Cabinet Company in Portland, TN and Vinson Electric.  He was the chairman of the board of the Adolphus VFD from 2011 to 2022, long-time member of Scottsville FOP and Robert’s Tabernacle Church of God of Prophecy and a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.  He was a son of the late John Bratton Parker and Della Delsie West Parker. 

He is survived by his wife of 59 1/2 years:  Hazel Keen Parker, Adolphus, KY; 

1 son:  Terry Lee Parker and wife, Sharon, Lexington, KY; 

1 daughter:  Debora Warn and husband, Jay, Lafayette, TN; 

1 brother:  Ronnie Parker, Gallatin, TN; 

2 grandchildren:  Ashley Mitchell (Kyle) and Kristin Staples (Chad) and 

A special grand dog:  Scooter. 

Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Friday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Wiley and Bro. Kenny Hanner officiating and burial in Oak Forest No. 1 Cemetery.  Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. t0 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 7:00 a.m. Friday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Oak Forest No. 1 Cemetery or Haysville Cemetery.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
