COLUMBIA — An inmate in Adair County was charged this week in connection to allegations that he attempted to send a letter to someone in hopes of having another person murdered.
Kentucky State Police said Paul S. Bricker, 37, of Columbia, attempted to send a letter while in jail to someone else in hopes of soliciting the murder. A letter was intercepted by jail staff before the investigation was launched.
Bricker was charged with solicitation of murder. He remains lodged at the Adair County Detention Center.
The man was previously lodged in connection to a slew of charges including first degree rape, sodomy, incest and strangulation, according to jail records.
The investigation is ongoing.
