BOWLING GREEN — Police in Bowling Green are investigating the death of a man hit by a train around 5:30AM on Friday.
Police say the victim has been identified as 37-year-old Jesse Craine of Cave City.
The engineer of the CSX train told authorities it appeared someone was sleeping on the tracks near Robinson Avenue and that he tried sounding the horn in an effort to alert the victim, but could not stop in time.
The investigation into the tragic incident remains ongoing.
