Glasgow teacher and students participate in Teachers Learning Conference at the Kentucky Intern Convention Center – John Polson, teacher and STLP students Jordan Gosnell, Karen Creech, Alex Berry and Nick Foster.
Dana makes donation to the BCHS Technology Class – a SLC-500 logic control component was presented by Mike Jones to Keith Hale.
Tonya Bragg Underwood is Employee of the Month for January at Family Home Health Care.
Ribbon cutting is held at Family Tradition Housing and South Central Telcom LLC.
Five new directors are added to Barren County YMCA board – Barren County Judge Executive Davie Greer, Metcalfe county Judge Executive Donnie Butler, Dr. Barrett Lessenberry, Walter Winn Davis and Mayor Darrell Pickett.
3-13-2003 – Replica of Civil War Cannon is installed at Ft. Williams site.
Eileen and Steven Sloan donate $10,000 to Glasgow School Board in memory of Berky Sloan to help fund the renovation of the press box at GHS.
Eagle Scout is bestowed upon DeVon Bledsoe of Troop 114.
BCHS Trojanettes win 15th District. BCHS Trojans win the 15th District as well.
Spring Clean up Week is set for March 22-29 for Glasgow and Barren County.
3-20-2003 – Barren Fiscal Court votes to let Volunteer Fire Department dues to be added to Barren Property Tax Bills and Jail inmates are now allowed calling cards.
Keith Hale is named Assistant Principal at Barren County High School.
Caverna School Board accepts the resignation from Supt. Dr. Charles Roberts.

Glasgow/Barren County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors make monetary donation to 623rd of the National Guard to purchase supplies as they deploy overseas.
Longbeards of the Barrens Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation will hold their banquet Saturday, March 29th at the Cave City Convention Center. Banquet Chairman is Timmy Lile.
T J Samson Community Hospital Rehab moves its program, with the exception of Cardiac Rehab to their new building beside Home Health and Family Practice Building.
Buddy Underwood is named to the T J Samson Hospital Board.
Quilter’s Day Out is held at South Green Elementary School hosted by the Quilters Friends.
Hiseville Mayor imposes limited weekend closures (Friday and Saturday 7 pm to 5 am.) at the Hiseville Cemetery. A city wide petition is filed to prevent this action.
