GLASGOW – On Friday, the Glasgow Police Department arrested a male subject after he pointed a firearm at Officers.
Glasgow PD had responded to a residence on Longhunters Trail in reference to a complaint. Upon arrival, Sgt. Hicks rang the doorbell and a female subject answered the door with a male subject identified as Michael Stuckert, 53, of Glasgow, standing behind her with a loaded firearm pointed at the Officer.
Sgt. Hicks was able to draw his service weapon and began immediately giving verbal commands to Stuckert to drop his weapon. Stuckert did comply and was taken into custody without further incident.
Stuckert was arrested and charged with Wanton Endangerment 2nd Degree Police Officer. He is currently being lodged in the Barren County Detention Center on a $5,000 cash bond. His court date is set for Monday, July 24 at 12:30PM.
