Joseph Patton “Jody” Hite II, 61, of Scottsville, KY passed away Monday, July 24, 2023 at his residence. The Scottsville, KY native was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church and the son of the late Joseph Patton “Joe” Hite and Edna Francis Wall Hite.
He is survived by 2 sons: Joseph Patton Hite III and fiancee’, Kimi Cheatham, Cookeville, TN and Jackson Montgomery Hite, Scottsville, KY;
1 daughter: Maggy Beth Sneed and husband, Seth, Smiths Grove, KY;
Patton’s mother: Melissa Roberts, Cookeville, TN:
Jackson and Maggy Beth’s mother: Louella Hite, Scottsville, KY;
2 sisters: Pam Blankenship and husband, Dwight, Scottsville, KY and Joy Miller and husband, Jeffrey, Bowling Green, KY;
2 nephews: Davis Blankenship, Scottsville, KY and Blake Miller, Bowling Green, KY;
1 niece: Rachel Maroney and husband, Austin, Bowling Green, KY;
1 great nephew: Kip Maroney.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 28, 2023 at Goad Funeral Home with burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 7:00 a.m. Friday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
