Mr. Bobby Darrell Turner, age 76, of Tompkinsville, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at his home. He was born in Monroe County on February 8, 1947, a son of the late Virgil Dee Turner and Della Mae (Isenberg) Turner. He was a graduate of Tompkinsville High School, Class of 1965. He retired from Tyson, SKF. Bobby and his wife Betty, have owned and operated Turner’s Flowers for the last thirty-five years, he enjoyed spending time with his family and his beloved dog Jack.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Betty June (Tooley) Turner, one daughter, Kimberly Ann Graves, and husband Charlie, one son, Robert Darrell Turner, and wife Heather, and one son-in-law, Greg Lyons. One Sister, Carolyn Hope England, along with eight grandchildren, Chloe Lyons, Jordyn Turner, Stetson Graves, Jake Turner, Case D. Turner, Chandler Wheeler, Brynley, and Ana Kindred, one great-grandchild, Rohen Graves, and his beloved dog Jack also survives.
In addition to his parents Virgil Dee Turner and Della Mae (Isenberg) Turner, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Kay Lyons, one sister, Wanda Jean Gentry, and one brother Larry D. Turner.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Mud Lick Cemetery. Bro. Gary Emberton will officiate the services.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 12, 2023, from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. and again on Sunday morning, after 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in Memory of Bobby.
