John Biggerstaff, 77, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Wednesday, September 13th, surrounded by his family at Monroe County Medical Center.
John was born in Tompkinsville, KY on January 11, 1946, a son of the late Mary Francis (Crawford) and William Hobson Biggerstaff.
He worked at SKF in Glasgow, KY for over 35 years. He was a member at Germany Church of Christ. John enjoyed making and playing marbles, making puzzles, spending time with his family, and traveling.
On January 2, 1965, he married Wanda Blythe in Gainsboro, TN.
John is survived by his wife of 58 years, Wanda Biggerstaff, of Tompkinsville, KY;
two sons and daughters-in-law, Rondal and Cristy Biggerstaff and Dennie and Nelda Biggerstaff, both of Tompkinsville, KY; four grandchildren, Ashley Biggerstaff (Joe Daubner), Michelle Hagan (Tyler), Bridget Biggerstaff (James Daniels) and Tucker Biggerstaff, and three great grandchildren, Bentley Miles, Emberlyn Hagan and Clara Jolee Daubner.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 16th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY, burial to follow at Monroe County Memorial Lawn.
Visitation is Friday, 5-8 p.m., and Saturday, 8:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
