Sharon Locke-Racz of Bowling Green, formerly of Hardyville, passed away from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Tuesday, Oct. 17th in Warren County. Sharon was born on January 17, 1945 to the late James Russell Sims and Martha Hays Sims. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse from T.J. Samson Community Hospital, which was her only place of employment, once she received her nursing license.
Sharon was of the Baptist faith and she was a member of the Hardyville Union Church.
She was preceded in death by her husbands Mitchell Locke & Stephen Racz and by one brother Bobby Sims.
Sharon is survived by a daughter Jennifer Locke of Bowling Green, a son Jeffrie Locke of Cub Run, two grandchildren Amber Tucker of Bowling Green & Kayla Locke of Horse Cave, a great-grandchild Kyler Druin,
and three brothers Russell Sims, Jr., Jack Sims & Tommy Sims.
Visitation with Sharon’s family will be from 12-3pm Sunday, Oct. 29th with a Celebration of Life service at 3pm in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home. The Southcentral Nurses Honor Guard will be conducting a tribute service honoring Sharon’s dedication to patient care throughout her nursing career with T.J. Samson.
