Michael Scott Whitney, 49, of Scottsville, KY passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at the Medical Center at Scottsville. The Indianapolis, IN native was a former employee of Sumitomo and a son of Michael Ray Whitney, who survives and the late Patricia Ann Collett Whitney.
He is survived by his wife: Tabby Whitney, Scottsville, KY;
1 son: Scott Whitney, Scottsville, KY;
His father: Michael Whitney, Scottsville, KY;
2 sisters: Wendy Whitney (Amy Patrick) and Hannah Whitney, all of Scottsville, KY;
His father-in-law and mother-in-law: Bobby and Barbara Farley, Adolphus, KY;
His sisters-in-law: Christi Cornwell (Jason) and Renee Minck (Alan), all of Scottsville, KY;
Special friends: Callie Ann Savage (Tony) and her sons: Ryan, Tyler, Austin and Preston Savage, all of Adolphus, KY;
Several nieces and nephews.
There will be no funeral service. Visitation will be 12:30 P.M. to 3:30 P.M. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with cremation to follow.
