Lula Belle Pickard, 82, of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away February 6th, 2024 at TJ Samson Skilled Nursing Unit. She was born August 18, 1941 in Glasgow, Kentucky to the late George Henry Raines and the late Minnie Delphia (Scott) Raines. Lula was a member of South Green Church of Christ and loved to watch UK basketball.
Survivors include one daughter, Rita Hypes (Rick); three grandchildren, Haley Hassler (Jonathan), Sarah Hypes (Chris Herron), and Clay Hypes; three great grandchildren, Wesley Hassler, Ethan Hassler, and Joseph Herron; and one sister, Louise Bray; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Lula was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Pickard; two brothers, Harold and Billy Raines; and one sister, Georgia Edwards (Tom).
