Wanda “Kaye” Morgan

Wanda “Kaye” Morgan, age 73, of Cave City, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024 in Glasgow at her daughters home. She was a native of Horse Cave and a member of Southside Baptist Church in Glasgow. She retired from Walmart after many years. She was a loving wife, mother, memaw, G-maw, and sister. She could be found with a crossword puzzle and a Diet Coke in her hand anytime. She enjoyed visiting the Smokey Mountains. Her most prized possession was her family and she was extremely proud of them.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles McCubbin and Mae Morrison; one sister, Sue McCubbin; her maternal and paternal grandparents; one nephew, Brad McCubbin.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years; Wayne Morgan; one son, Dennis Dewayne Morgan; one daughter, Susan Humphrey (Billy); two grandsons, Layne Hurt (Kristi) and Nick Humphrey; one granddaughter, Sarah Humphrey; two great-grandchildren, Skylar and Kane; Three siblings, Jeanne McCubbin, Dennis McCubbin and Becky McCubbin; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Winn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 P.M. – 7 P.M. on Friday, February 2024 at Winn Funeral Home and from 8 A.M. until time of service.
