Mrs. Patricia Magdalene (Rains) Jones Parrigin, of Albany Kentucky, passed away, Thursday, February 15, 2024, in Clinton County, Kentucky, having attained the age of 60 years, 10 months, and 21 days. She was born in Albany, Kentucky, on Monday, March, 25, 1963, the daughter of Howard and Ollie Pearl (Gillreath) Rains. She was a Christian and worked as a seamstress at Sutton’s Manufacturing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Tex Rains, Johnny Rains, Lilly Tweedy, and Phillip Rains. She is survived by her husband, Bill Parrigin, children, Irvin Jones and Ricky Jones, siblings, Sue Smith, Dexter Rains, Ida Myers, and Randall Rains, all of Albany, Kentucky, grandchildren, Alexis Jones, Mika Jones, Maci Jo Jones, and Isabelle UpChurch, several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 (CST) on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 in the chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Shelley officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 after 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour. Burial will be in Davidson Cemetery in Pickett County, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Campbell-New Funeral Home to help defray final expenses. Campbell-New Funeral Home in Albany, Kentucky is honored to be in charge of the arrangements.
