Owen Grant Woodcock, 79, of Austin, KY, passed away Thursday, February 29, at TJ Samson Community Hospital.
Owen was born July 10, 1944, in Barren County, KY, a son of the late Aelie F. and Edith Earl (Kinslow) Woodcock.
Owen married Margaret Tarry on July 2, 1986 in Bon Ayer, KY.
He worked as a farmer, at Sprowl Lumber and Glass Paving throughout his life.
Owen is survived by his wife, Margaret Woodcock, of Austin, KY; stepchildren, Desper Cochran, and Teresa, of Fountain Run, KY; Bradley Cochran, and Toni, of Austin, KY; children, Ricky Woodcock, and Alison, of Glasgow, KY; Jason Woodcock, and Whitney, of Glasgow, KY; and Sherry Poland, and Jeff, of Austin, KY. 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Also surviving is a brother, Joel Woodcock, and his special friend, Mary Graham, of Austin, KY and sister, Wanda Terry McGuire, of Glasgow, KY.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Russell McGuire.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 3, 2024 at 2:00 p.m., at Fountain Run Funeral Home, with Bro. Tim Eaton officiating. Burial to follow at Tracy Cemetery.
Visitation is Saturday 4-8p.m., and Sunday morning, 8:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. at Fountain Run Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Owen’s memory may be made to Tracy Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fountain Run Funeral Home.
