On January 17, 2024, Robert Tomes (35) assaulted Levi Parrish (40), both inmates at the Allen County Detention Center.
Parrish was transported by EMS to the Bowling Green Medical Center.
On January 26, 2024, Parrish passed away at the Bowling Green Medical Center.
On March 27, 2024, this investigation was presented to a grand jury in Allen County.
The grand jury returned an indictment against Robert Tomes for one count of Murder and one count of Persistent Felony Offender 1st Degree.
