Prestonsburg, KY – To kick off the 2024 Summer Concert series being hosted by Entertain Glasgow, the band Sundy Best will take center-stage on Friday Night at Beaver Trail Park. The Dad Bods will open the show at 7:00 pm. The event will have lots of food trucks and amenities. The concert itself, no ticket necessary, thanks to the sponsorship of Entertain Glasgow, Renew by Optimum Rejuvenation, Span Tech, The Tree Company, Greg Harris Electric, MCS Lawncare, TJ Regional Health, the City of Glasgow, Bailey Gibson Buick-GMC, Glasgow-Barren County Tourism, Diamond Auto Collision, and Botts Construction.
WCLU News was able to speak with Kris Bentley, percussionist for the band. He and Nicholas Jamerson bring a signature sound of acoustic guitar, a drum box, and passionate lyrics about life in small town America. The group is from Prestonsburg, KY.
