William O. “Bill” Gravile, 96, of Louisville, formerly of the Segal community, passed away April 28, 2024 at Baptist Health Louisville.
The Edmonson and Warren County native was a large truck operator who drove for many years with an excellent driving record in both the Louisville and South Central Kentucky areas and was a member of Red Hill General Baptist Church. He enjoyed driving, fishing, horse racing and trips to Florida. He was the son of the late Fonzo Gravil and Leona Higgs Gravil and the husband of the late Frances Patterson Gravile. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy Lee Gravile and a son-in-law, Al Bizzell.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in Doyle Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM Friday.
Surviving are a daughter, Annetta Bizzell of Louisville; two grandsons, Allan William Bizzell of Louisville and Joshua Bizzell (Elizabeth) of Byron, GA; two great granddaughters, Claire Bizzell and Caroline Bizzell both of Byron.
