Jacarri Blackmon, another featured artist and BCHS Junior plans to follow her passion for art as she prepares for college.
Among the standout talents featured in the exhibition were five students who earned accolades at the prestigious KyAEA Caveland Regional Show.

Chloe Glass emerged as the shining star, claiming the coveted title of BEST IN SHOW for her exceptional artwork. Additionally, Leah Somerville showcased her remarkable skills with impressive wins, securing 1st and 3rd Place in Painting categories. Madison Harper’s mastery of drawing earned her 3rd Place recognition, while Kylie West’s innovative digital artistry garnered her 3rd Place in the Digital Art category. Shelby Branning’s talent was also acknowledged with an Honorable Mention in Drawing, showcasing the depth of artistic prowess among Barren County High School students.
Notably, Chloe Glass and Leah Somerville’s artistic achievements have transcended the regional level, with their works currently being exhibited at the State KyAEA Show in Lexington.
