Imogene Bratcher White Moore

Imogene Bratcher White Moore, age 87, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Signature Healthcare in Bowling Green, KY.

The Warren County native was the daughter of the late Garland Granville Bratcher and Mildred Wilson Bratcher. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands, Ephram White and Odell Moore; one son, Lonnie White and his wife, Debbie; one granddaughter, Renee Michell White; three brothers, Randall Bratcher, Ruby Bratcher, and Ray Bratcher, and two nephews; Mickey Bratcher and Rickey Bratcher.

Imogene was a member of the Richardsville Church of Christ for 65 years, where she served as a Sunday School teacher. She was a longtime member and past president of the Richardsville Homemakers, the Warren County Democratic Woman’s Club, and Warren County Democratic Executive Committee. She served on the Warren Co. Soil and Water Conservation district as secretary, was an avid Western KY University fan, loved to travel, enjoyed volunteering, and going antiquing. She was a retired claims representative for the Social Security Office and served as past president of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees (NARFE).

She is survived by one sister, Opal Sublett, nieces and nephews, Malcolm Cherry, Cleve Cherry, Teresa Douglas, Jackie Edwards, Darlene Geron, Glenn Bratcher, Garry Sublett, Vicki Daniel and Lori Causey, and several great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 PM followed by burial in the Riverside Christian Church Cemetery.
