SMITHS GROVE, KY – Bucee’s is officially open in Smiths Grove. Anyone and everyone turned out for the big day where not a parking spot was empty and not a fuel pump unused around noon Monday, for the grand opening. U.S. Senator Rand Paul, State Senator Max Wise, State Representatives Rocky Adkins and Michael Meredith, and even the CEO of Bucee’s himself, Arch “Beaver” Aplin were in attendance. Smiths Grove Mayor David Stiffey emceed the ribbon cutting where hundreds were gathered to witness the monumental day for Warren County.
Senator Paul told those in the crowd a story of how he and Aplin knew each other growing up in Texas. Paul was excited for his friend in his comments during the celebration.
As Aplin gave his address, he was quick to thank the leadership in the state of Kentucky for being a business-friendly state, commenting on the willingness of everyone to see the project through.
Warren County’s County Attorney Amy Hale Milliken, who grew up in Smiths Grove, gave maybe the most energetic statements of any of the day’s speakers. While it may seem as a wild thought to have something as big as a Bucee’s in Smiths Grove, KY, it’s also not surprising to the native.
Tim Earley, Opening Manager for Bucee’s, says the company is highly focused on training and always hiring.

According to the company’s website, since 1982 Bucee’s has been committed to providing a clean, friendly, and in stock experience for customers.
