Game Themes Announced for 2024 WKU Football Season

WKU Football announced game themes and suggested colors for fans to wear for the six home games in the upcoming 2024 season.

WKU will open its home schedule at 6 pm CT on Saturday, September 7, against Eastern Kentucky. The game will be the team’s White Out Game, and fans are encouraged to wear white to support the Hilltoppers against the Colonels.

The Hilltoppers are back home on Saturday, September 21, for a 6 pm CT game against Toledo. The game will take place during WKU’s Parent & Family Weekend, and fans are encouraged to come to Houchens-Smith Stadium for a day of family and football wearing red or white. The Family of the Year will be announced at halftime.

WKU will hold its Red Out Game on Thursday, October 10, when the Hilltoppers take on UTEP at 7 pm CT in the first Conference USA home game of the season. Fans are encouraged to wear red to cheer on the Hilltoppers.

The Hilltoppers will close out their October mid-week schedule by hosting CUSA newcomer Kennesaw State in a 6:30 pm CT, Black Out Game on Wednesday, October 30. Fans are encouraged to wear black or to dress up in their favorite Halloween costume to celebrate Halloween On The Hill.

WKU’s 2024 Homecoming game will take place on Saturday, November 16, when the Hilltoppers play Louisiana Tech at 11 am CT. Fans are encouraged to wear red for the Homecoming match up.
Senior Day will take place on Saturday, November 30, when the Hilltoppers face Jax State at 2:30 pm CT. Fans are encouraged to wear red to celebrate WKU’s senior class and to cheer on the Hilltoppers against the Gamecocks in the regular-season finale.
The Hilltoppers are scheduled to open the 2024 season with a 6 pm CT game at Alabama on Saturday, August 31.
