Ted Alan Bennett

Ted Alan Bennett, age 61, passed away peacefully on Sunday August 25, 2024 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky. The Franklin, KY native was the son of Billy Bennett and June Pearson Bennett. Born on October 27, 1962, Ted’s life was filled with love, laughter and dedication.

Ted is survived by his wife Kristin Hill Bennett, two daughters, Emma Clare Bennett and Ava Catherine Bennett, his parents Billy and June Bennett, and his two sisters, Sandy Mefford and Cindy Ball. His family was his greatest joy, and he was immensely proud of their accomplishments.

Ted was a 1981 graduate of Franklin-Simpson High School, where he was a proud part of the 1979 and 1980 State Football Championship teams. He then went on to graduate from Western Kentucky University. Ted was a successful District Sales Manager with Colonial Life Insurance, best known for his honesty, integrity and hard work. He was a member of Living Hope Baptist Church.

Ted loved nothing more than cheering on Emma and Ava at their sporting events, always their biggest fan. He enjoyed the outdoors including hiking, hunting and fishing. An avid reader, Ted also had a passion for travel and creating lasting memories with his family and friends. His sarcastic wit and quick humor brought joy to everyone around him.

Visitation will be Tuesday August 27, 2024 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Living Hope Baptist Church Chapel and Wednesday August 28, 2024 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM with Memorial Service at 11:00 AM at Living Hope Baptist Church Chapel.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky.
